About
With deep roots in pop and rock, Matt Teden has been mixing for 7+ years and strives to help artists achieve their sonic goals. He is meticulous and careful about details to ensure flawless recording and mixing quality. Matt has extensive experience mixing in various surround and immersive formats such as 5.1, 7.1, Dolby Atmos, and 360° VR.
Matt grew up outside of Boston and gained his first studio experience at Wellspring Sound in Acton, MA as a 3 year intern for studio sessions and live PA gigs. He finished his time at IU by winning the Gold Award in the 2022 AES International Student Recording Competition with his studio project “Valerie.”
Matt continues advancing his skills with recording, editing, mixing, and mastering in Los Angeles where he strives to connect with talented musicians and engineers.
